Grace Interior Designs was born very soon after I started studying interior design in London as a ‘hobby’. I’ve always had an interest in property, furniture and design but didn’t realise my passion until I was immersed in my studies.
At that point I had been working for many years as a corporate fundraiser for various not for profit organisations in Melbourne and London and was looking for a change.
My second life as Interior Designer & Founder of Grace Interior Designs started in September 2013.
I was keen to position Grace Interior Designs as a down to earth interior design business, focusing on my belief that design should be accessible, and that everyone deserves to live in a beautiful space.

Residential Interior Design
An interior design project involves structure, function and aesthetics. Typically this could be a new build, refurbishment, renovation, kitchen, bathroom.
A full interior design service is both a creative and a strategic process that delivers amazing spaces that includes;
A comprehensive brief to learn about your goals, functional problems, we conduct A space review and take measurements and define your style goal and colour scheme
Concept or mood board development, including presentation with a design

Interior Styling
An interior styling project usually only involves function and aesthetics. Typically this could be changing or creating a new look and feel for a space, updating or buying new pieces of furniture, window treatments, accessories such as cushions and so on and includes the following steps;
A comprehensive brief to learn about your goals and functional problems, we conduct a space review and take measurements and define your style goal and colour scheme
Concept or mood board development, including presentation with a design rationale and Specification Table
2D and 3D plans and drawings of existing and proposed floor plans and configurations and aesthetics

Colour Consultation
If you’re thinking about a change of colour for your interior, we can advise on colour combinations to suit your desired mood and feel. For a basic wall and trim paint colour we charge a fixed fee;

Style definition and overall colour scheme,
Assessment of the space and lighting,
Selecting 3 colours to sample
Observe and test under different light conditions presented through a colour rationale for you to choose.
